The Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS)

PALS branch

We are here to help when you need advice, have concerns, want to tell us what you think about our services, or do not know where to turn.

We can:

  • Help you to resolve any problems or issues you have about our hospital services
  • Tell you about the service we provide and about the NHS
  • Provide information leaflets and signpost you to other support organisations
  • Listen to your suggestions and comments and take action to improve our services

If there is something you are unhappy with, we would like to know, so that we can try to put matters right. We believe that all feedback provides an opportunity for us to better understand and improve the quality of our services. A member of the PALS team will listen and discuss with you the most appropriate way to take your concerns forward and can also give advice on independent advocacy services and the formal complaints process.
