Creating a hospital where patients choose to come and where staff want to work is important. In 2010, Derby Hospitals was voted by staff as the third best teaching trust in the country to work for with job satisfaction amongst the highest we have ever seen.
It is an extremely exciting time for us. There has been huge investment in local healthcare to give Derby a great new hospital. Boasting state of the art facilities it is purpose built to provide the best possible care and experience for our patients.
However it's not the facilities that deliver great care, it's our staff!

Derby Hospitals was the only hospital in the East Midlands to receive the double excellent rating for quality of services and use of resource from the Care Quality Commission in 2008-09 putting us in the top 10% of hospitals in the country.
