Derby Hospitals is committed to providing work experience wherever possible. By offering work experience the Trust is forging partnerships with the local community, improving opportunities for local young people and helping address issues of inequality of opportunity and access to healthcare.
We try to offer any of the following:
- Placement for school students
- Work shadowing
- Work observation visits – guided visit watching a range of activities or processes
- Job seekers who need some guidance and support to build their confidence
- Students at university requiring summer placements
