Outpatients

Our two main sites are the Royal Derby Hospital and the London Road Community Hospital.

Please read your appointment letter carefully as it contains important information about your visit.

Check where your appointment will be held and whether you have been asked to bring anything with you, such as an appointment card or urine sample.

It is the organisations concern to ensure that the child or patient receives appointment letters in order for them to attend their appointments. The organisation will send appointment letters to the registered address recorded on the patient administration systems. The letter will be addressed to the patient or the parent of the patient. It is the responsibility of the patient or the parent of the patient to pass the information on to whoever they need/want to share it with. The organisation cannot get involved with sending duplicate letters out to several different parents’ addresses. Queries relating to this stance need to be dealt with on a case by case basis.

We aim to provide high quality care, facilities, information and services that are responsive to your needs.

Your right to confidentiality will always be respected and upheld, and you have the right to choose who information about your condition and treatment is given to.

Please do not bring any valuables or a large amount of money into hospital with you.
