Derby Hospitals takes to Twitter to encourage public to choose well

 11 December 2012

The public will be able to find out what’s happening inside the accident and emergency department at the Royal Derby Hospital today via a series of live tweets, posted as part of a nationwide NHS Tweetathon.

Twitter users can follow @DerbyHospitals on Twitter throughout the day for an up to the minute account of what’s happening in A & E. @DerbyHospitals will be posting tweets as part of the ambitious week long NHS Tweetathon which aims to give the public an insight into the kind of pressures which face the NHS on a daily basis.

The Tweetathon is part of a campaign to encourage more people in England to choose well when accessing local health services.
