Royal Derby Hospital is "brilliant" say Derby Telegraph readers

Published 14/08/2014

The readers of the Derby Telegraph have given a massive endorsement to the Royal Derby Hospital.
The newspaper asked for opinions about the hospital on its Facebook page.
As a result, the website was inundated with comments praising the staff and the facilities at the site.
They included:
“My son contracted meningitis at 10 days old – they were absolutely fabulous with us.”
“They are the best nurses and doctors.”
“This is a brilliant hospital. You all are doing a fab job.”
“Every member of staff was brilliant and they made me feel at home instantly.”
The comments were posted on the social networking website following two letters which appeared in the Derby Telegraph, written by readers, praising the hospital.
Sue James, Chief Executive of Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Patient and visitor feedback, both positive and negative, is one of the most valuable ways we have of evaluating the services we provide.
“The positive wide range of comments is both satisfying and a real testament to the work all of our staff do day in and day out. We are always trying to improve the experience our patients have at Derby Hospitals and there is always more to be done.
“However, to know that so many people feel we are doing a good job is immensely rewarding.”
