Domiciliary visits to a patient's home and visits to in-patients in community hospitals can be arranged on request from the patient’s GP.

Patients may be seen by middle grade doctors in clinic but a consultant will be involved in the management of all patients.

Occasionally medical students may sit in on a consultation. The patient's permission will be sought first.
