The department of general surgery comprises of the following sub-specialty services

The Consultant Surgeons of these subspecialties provide a comprehensive 24 hour on call general surgical emergency service, with access to dedicated emergency theatre, intensive care facility. The department has six wards including a dedicated surgical assessment ward, a surgical outpatient department and daycase facility.
