Best Frontline

Winner: Dylan Griffin, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, ED

Dylan Griffin, one of our Advanced Clinical Practitioners, has been awarded the Best Frontline Member of Staff award in our Pride of Derby employee awards scheme. Dylan was nominated by a patient for his sincerity and outstanding care.

Best Behind the Scenes

Winner: Julie Wheatley and Anna Skalbania, Workforce Transformation and Learning and Development Practitioner 

Julie Wheatley and Anna Skalbania have been awarded the Best Behind the Scenes Members of Staff award in our Pride of Derby employee awards scheme. They were nominated for helping a staff member from outside the UK to settle in to their new life here.

Vicki Hill has been awarded the Best Inspirational Leader award in our Pride of Derby employee awards scheme. She was nominated y a member of staff for making the team she works with feel empowered.

The IT Lorenzo Team has been awarded the Best Team award in our Pride of Derby employee awards scheme. They were nominated their consistent support to colleagues.

Chairman and Chief Executive's Award

Winner: Emergency Department

The Emergency Department have been awarded the first Chairman and Chief Executive's award in our Pride of Derby employee awards scheme. They were awarded after being named 'Emergency Department Clinical Team of the Year' by the Royal College of Medicine.

The Communications Team 

The Communications Team helped organise the annual staff awards event, Celebrating Success. 

There are particular mentions for Communications Apprentice, Catherine Mellor for all she did to help ensure the evening went to plan, for Rose Lucas for all her hard work and to Laura Jeffery for her meticulous planning and calming influence.
