The Trust Board has overall responsibility for setting the strategic direction of the Trust and for monitoring all aspects of performance. The Trust Board exercises the powers of the Trust within its Terms of Authorisation and its Constitution.
The chief executive is the accountable officer and the executive directors are responsible for the day to day management of their respective corporate departments.
Clinical services are managed within four clinical directorates. These are led by associate directors who are responsible to the chief executive. Other senior posts accountable to the associate directors within each clinical directorate are clinical directors, quality improvement leads and operational managers. A management structure chart for these directorates is available below.
