Patient and visitor car parking at the London Road Community Hospital is available at the main entrance and junction 8 car parks.

Both car parks at are free for the first 20 minutes.

If you require further information regarding patient and visitor car parking at the London Road Community Hospital please contact our car parking office at junction 7 or telephone 01332 347141 Ext: 2211.

Free 30 minute drop off/pick up spaces are available at the main entrance.
Both car parks are also free for the first 20 minutes. Simply insert yout ticket into the exit barrier.

There are clearly marked disabled spaces in all car parks and drop off/pick up bays near some entrances.

There are also some free disabled car parking spaces available close to the main entrance which are time limited to a maximum stay of three hours. Disabled persons choosing to park in the patient and visitors car parks will be subject to the same charges as other users of our car parks.

Trouble using car park barriers?

If you have a problem using the ticket machines at the entrances to our car parks please call our car parking office before your arrival so that an attendant can provide alternative arrangements.

There are a number of car parking discounts avaible to eligiable patients and vsitors.

Regular visitors can purchace weekly tickets for just £9. This ticket allows unlimited parking for one week and can be shared with friends and family. Weekly tickets must be purhased from the car parking office at junction 7 or telephone 01332 347141 Ext. 2211.

Patients who are in receipt of certain benefits (i.e. income support, income based jobseekers allowance, tax, child and pension credits) may be entitled to claim back car parking charges. For more information please visit the cashier's office on level 3 in the main entrance of the Royal Derby Hospital.

 

Patient & visitor charges

The revenue from car parking is put back into the maintenance and upkeep of our car parks, staffing the car parks and ensuring that they are safe places to park.

Any surplus revenue from car parking charges goes back into frontline care. Our car parking charges have remained the same for the last three years.

Lost Tickets 


Patients and visitors who lose their ticket will need to go to the car parking office situated in car park 6 where they will need to provide proof that they are the owners of the car, an appointment card or name of the patient they are visiting and the ward. The lost ticket fee will be charged and a validated ticket issued. Lost tickets are charged at £8.
