Derby Hospitals Charity
is very fortunate to receive ongoing support from many local
companies.
We have been working in
partnership with Derby County Football Club, as their Charity of the
Year, on the Teen Pride project to raise a total of £60,000 to
provide dedicated facilities for teenagers who attend the Children’s
Hospital.
Derbyshire County
Cricket Club and Don and Mary Amott organised a summer evening
fundraising event in the fabulous new marquee which raised over
£12,000 for the breast unit and oncology.
Many companies have
chosen a ward / department as their charity of the year. Their staff
organise fundraising events throughout the year and we then arrange
for them to visit the hospital to present the money they have raised.
Staff from Sainsbury’s
in the Westfield Centre are currently raising money for the neonatal
intensive care unit.
