Other ways to give

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving (also known as Give as You Earn or GAYE) is a regular way of giving us your support that is also very tax effective.

How Payroll Giving works

Each time you are paid, a donation is deducted by your Payroll Department before tax is calculated.  For instance if you are a basic rate tax payer and you pledge £5 per month, you will pay only £3.90 and the tax man will add the other £1.10 at no extra cost to you!

If you are a higher rate taxpayer it will cost even less.  Some employers offer matched giving schemes where they wil match your gift at no extra cost to you.

How do I sign up for Payroll Giving?

Check with your payroll department that your company offers the Payroll Giving Scheme and then decide how much you would like to pay each pay day.  Remember that the amount you pledge also includes the part paid by the taxman!

If your company does not currently offer payroll giving, just complete the form below and send it to us.
